| Sadlers Reserve Castillo Merlot Shiraz is created with a blend of Merlot and Shiraz from the hills of Italy with mature medium roast oak and elderberry flavours. Although the region specializes in many different wines, those based Shiraz deserve the most attention as no other grape variety matches the grandeur it achieves here. The wine made from this kit is rich and dark in colour, extremely full-bodied and loaded with ripe, dark fruits with elements of mint and eucalyptus. With the addition of oak and elderberry these are age-worthy wines which acquire tremendous complexity and depth during extended cellaring. Another unmistakable feature of Castillo Shiraz is the velvety and soft tannins attributed to the grapes.
