| In the mid-1800s, under a British bounty to attract vineyard workers, many German immigrants settled in South Australia to work in vineyards. With this immigration came the popular German varietals Riesling and Gewürztraminer.
This popular Australian blend of Gewürztraminer (50%) and Riesling (45%) includes a small addition of Muscat (5%) to create a fresh and fruity wine. It is pale straw in colour and has a complex rose petal and apricot nose with a touch of spice. Flavors are consistent with the nose, combined with litchis and a hint of ripe apricot. The fruitiness of the palate is balanced with good acid, to create a clean and crisp long finish.
